French Dip is something I would order at a restaurant back in the day. Now that I know how much salt that sandwich typically has, I steer clear. And that's precisely why I DO make this at home every so often.

Salt: Instead of beef broth, I use low-salt vegetable broth. Combined with low-salt soy sauce, you still get the savory taste you expect.

Carbs: When I'm not having mashed cauliflower (and I really do have this a lot), I make sandwiches. But, I enjoy it open-faced or with the bread hollowed out a little, and with LOTS of caramelized onions. 😉

I receive so many emails from readers who are watching sodium and carbs. I am too! So, I thought I would share adjustments I'm making in my kitchen today, along with personal thoughts about the dish that I may not share in the post. They are just for you, my dear readers!
